In addition to original art works and prints available through this gallery, the following sketch services, based on your photographic image, are available:

These prices are based on a photographic image sent to me via email, or postal services, with the sketch image 300dpi, 10" x 14" (Or, the original size. This is a large file, suitable for printing, provided in the format of your choice, CMYK, JPG, etc.) returned via email or download from a private page on makart.com, or have the image mailed to you on CD ROM for an additional $14.95.

We can also produce various types of prints for you. Starting with a commercial grade lazer print. For each sketch returned to you, as a 10" x 14" (other sizes available) high quality gloss paper lazer print, add $19.95 for the first print, and $4.95 each, for additional prints returned in the same envelope.

Originals are generally done approx. 10" x 14" on high quality, acid free paper. (Other larger or smaller sizes available.) My pricing for originals is based on; technical merit, uniqueness, size, complexity, and how well the piece fits into my current body of work. Therefore, I may (or may not) reserve the right to not quote a price for the original until the work is completed.

Send your photograph, or digital image and other necessary details, I'll do a sketch and return to you, via email, a thumbnail image of the sketch.

If, on the basis of the thumbnail, you decide not to proceed with a purchase, there will be no charges for the work carried out.

If you wish to purchase the full size image, prints, or original, you must send the appropriate payment at this time. Upon receipt of your payment I will send to you, (via download from a private page on this site, or have the image mailed to you on CD ROM for an additional $14.95.) the full size image as a CMYK or JPG file. If you have requested a hardcopy, be it print(s) or original, this will be sent via postal services. I will also return, via postal services, any hardcopy photographs sent to me. (Please enclose SASE)

The best photos to use are those that display definite patterns of light and shadow but don't have the detail in the shadow entirely blacked out.

The images shown in the gallery are lower resolution to reduce download time.

I reserve the right not to produce a sketch / painting from an image sent to me.

I will take the upmost care to see that any hardcopy photographs sent to me are returned undamaged. However, I cannot guarantee that any photograph I recieve will be returned and will not be damaged.

Unless otherwise agreed, all sketch / painting images produced, by the services offered here, remain the copyright of makART. However, unlimited reproduction rights are granted to the person commissioning the sketch/painting.

All photographic images sent to me will be kept confidential, unless I have the expressed permission (by email or post) of the person or persons owning the rights to the photograph, to display the photographic image.

If any of the sketches shown in Makart's Gallery are based on photographs which are copyright and the owner of that copyright wishes the sketch to be removed from the gallery, please contact me and I will remove the image.
